# Quickstart

#### Sign In

Go to the [PlayerAtlas dashboard](https://app.mcstats.io/) and create a account with mail and password or a sso like Discord, Google or GitHub.

#### Create a Project or Join an Existing One

**Join an existing project**

After signing in (or if you have no projects), you’ll see the Onboarding screen.

**To join an existing project**

* Under Join an Existing Project, copy the email shown.
* Give it to the project owner so they can invite you.
* Click Check for Invitations to join once they’ve added you.

**To create a new project**

* Click Create Project → choose Minecraft or Hytale.
* Enter a Project Name and (optionally) a Description.
* Click Continue, then Go to Dashboard for your new project.

#### Set up a server connection

Go to the Server Connections Page at the bottom of the sidebar. Click the Add Server Button at the top of the page to create a new server:

* For Minecraft: proxy and/or game servers.
* For Hytale: game servers only.

After saving a new Server will show up in the server list. You can copy the api key and head over to the next step!

#### Install the plugin

Download the plugin from the Manage Servers Page and install it on your Server. It will create a folder with a `config.yml` inside.

**Paste your servers API Key in there** and set `acceptGeoAgreement: true` to view geo data in our dashboard.

#### Ready!

That's it! Your server will now send analytics data to the dashboard, where you can view and monitor everything.
